Early Life:

Ganesh Kumar Limbu is a resident of Gangapur village in Sonitpur district of Assam. He is the son of Late Padam Bahadur Limbu. He is a Bharatiya Janata Party politician from Assam. His age is 49 years. He is married to Nira Subba and she is a homemaker.

Education:

He completed his schooling from Dhekiajuli High school. He pursued his BA from K.K HandiqueOpen university in 2012. Later he qualified MA from IDOL, GU in 2015.

Career and Politics:

Contesting for the first time in the Assembly elections of 2011 on a BJP ticket from the Borchalla seat, Ganesh Kumar Limbu lost to Tanka Bahadur Rai from the INC party.

In 2016, he won the Barchalla seat defeating Tanka Bahadur Rai.

He is contesting the Assam elections for the third time from the Borchalla seat on a BJP ticket.
