Abul Kalam Rasheed Alamis the son of Late Pashan Ali. He is 49 years old and a resident of Kismatpur Ward No-14, Baladmari in Goalpara, Assam.

Abdul Kalam Rasheed completed graduation from Goalpara College in the year 1993.

Career and Politics

He is a businessman. He is the sitting MLA from Goalpara. He is contesting the Assam Assembly elections 2021 on an Indian National Congress ticket from Goalpara East constituency to retain his seat. He won the 2016 Assam Assembly elections by defeating Gauranga Prasad Das of BJP. Alam got 57,374 votes, while Das got 54,793 votes.
