By-lane construction works allotted to BJP activist Manoj Mohali under the Dhekiajuli Municipality Board remain incomplete

DHEKIAJULI: The by-lane construction works of Shantipara ward no. 9, Manojuli Vivekananda by-lane, ward no. 4 and ward no. 10 by-lane construction works under the Dhekiajuli Municipality Board are yet to be completed.

The by-lane construction work of Shantipara was allotted to BJP activist Manoj Mohali. The construction work began in the month of February. But after few trucks delivered concrete bricks in the construction site, the construction work allegedly stopped. In this regard, a complaint was lodged at the office of the circle officer, Dhekiajuli. Sabyasachi Kashyap, the circle officer, after getting the complaint, visited the Shantipara by-lane roadside and instructed the contractor Manoj Mohali to complete the work soon. However, the contractor is yet to start work again. It is also alleged that the Dhekiajuli Municipality authorities are mere silent spectators. In ward no. 4, Vivekananda by-lane is also in a dilapidated condition with large potholes. In ward no. 10, Rupak Nagar Path by-lane construction work also remains incomplete. The locals of these areas have demanded immediate completion of these by-lanes.
