UDALGURI, Aug 12: The SSB sector headquarter, Bezpara will celebrate the 71st Independence Day with the remote border people, SSB adopted schools, school children and SSB jawans keeping vigilance in the Indo-Bhutan border. Keeping in mind the security aspect in the area of operation in pre and post-Independence days, sector headquarter Bezpara will conduct an exercise along the Indo-Bhutan border to dominate the area from Barnadi Rajgarh to Kalaktang Arunachal Pradesh.
The Bezpara sector under the leadership of Asim Kumar Mallik, DIG, stationed at Debendranagar has chalked out a plan to celebrate the day with the border population and the men of SSB who are guarding the border outposts in Sluicegate BOP, Kunderbil BOP, Koramore BOP, Rajagarh BOP, Nalapara BOP of Udalguri BTAD and West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. While celebrating the day, the sacrifice of the brave officers and jawans who laid down their lives for the protection of the independence of the motherland will be remembered with honour. Their sacrifice means a lot to the country, said AK Mallik, DIG of SSB sector headquarter, Bezpara.
