Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) governing board meet held at Golaghat

NUMALIGARH: Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Golaghat organized its governing board (GB) meeting on September 30, 2021 under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat.

All the line departmental heads of the district, Chief Scientist of Sugarcane Research Station, Buralikson, Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Khumtai, Chairman, Golaghat ZPC, Project Director, DRDA, Golaghat and a host of farmer members were present in the meeting. In the meeting ATMA's Deputy Project Director, Tapan Kumar Mahanta presented the last three years' activities performed by ATMA in Golaghat district with powerpoint presentation and got huge applause from the members. Earlier in the meeting, the District Agricultural Officer, Golaghat, Nobin Chandra Bora welcomed the members and Senior Agriculture Development Officer-cum-Deputy Project Director Ranjan Borua spoke about the ATMA scheme. A progressive farmer of the district, Monjuma Begum was awarded as best farmer in the meeting.
