Red Horns Division of the Indian Army hands over community hall and toilet block to Gamiripal Gaon, Jamuguri

Tezpur: In continuation with the endeavour to reach out to the less privileged populace of Gamiripal village, the Red Horns Division of the Indian Army handed over one community hall with stage and internal electrification and one toilet block to Gamiripal Gaon, Jamuguri under Op Sadbhavana Project 2018-19. The project was inaugurated on April 7.

The community hall at Gamripal Gaon is a humane gesture of goodwill from the armed forces and will facilitate the villagers with better infrastructure and better facilities, besides promoting harmonious relations between the local populace and the Indian Army deployed in Biswanath district.

Gaon buras, village secretaries and villagers of the nearby villages were present at the inauguration programme. Officers and troops from the Red Horns Division were also part of the programme. The initiative was aimed to provide the best facilities to the village members for organizing events and village meets.
