London: Arsenal and Ajax have reached an agreement on the transfer of 22-year-old Dutch in-ternational defender Jurrien Timber to London, both clubs announced.
The two sides reached an agreement on a 40 million euros transfer fee (45 million U.S. dollars), which can increase to 45 million euros through variables.
Timber has agreed a five-year deal to become Arsenal’s second signing of the close-season after the capture of forward Kai Havertz from Chelsea for around 82 million US dollars. IANS
