Manoranjan Borgohain, 50, is a native of Lazum, Margherita, in the Tinsukia district of Assam. He is the son of Late Hiren Borgohain. He is married to Ranju Phukan.

Manoranjan Borgohain studied at Sivsagar College, Joysagar (1992-93) and has a bachelor's degree in Science from Dibrugarh university.

Career and Politics

He is contesting the Assam Assembly elections from Magherita.
