Thoiba Singhais the son of Brajalal Singha. He is a resident of Shibpur, Lakhipur in Cachar district.
He passed his H.S.L.C. (Matric) in 1991. He completed his Higher Secondary in 1993 from Manipur. He got his B.A degree from Biramongal College under Manipur University in 1996.
Thoiba Singhais a businessman. He is contesting the Assam Assembly election, 2021, from the Lakhipur constituency as an Independent candidate. He had contested the Lok Sabha elections of 2014, where he lost to Rajdeep Goala of INC by 24,367 votes.
