Tinsukia: A man was beaten up in Tinsukia's Parbatia Road in the evening by locals who suspected him to be a child abductor.
As per sources, the person had allegedly tried to lure a 7-year-old boy when he screamed for help following which, his mother and neighbouring people rescued the boy.
Later, hearing about the incident, Tinsukia police reached the spot and apprehended the person for further interrogation.
