Guwahati: In view of rain cut between Jorai-Kamakhyaguri, Alipurduar Division has proposed to cancel the following trains: -
It may be mentioned that due to rain cut between Jorai and Kamakhyaguri stations, near bridge No. 195 in New Cooch Behar - New Bongaigaon Double line section over Alipurduar Division heavy congestion occurred in that section and temporary single line working started from 03.25 hrs of 24th July, 2019.
The trains were running in convoy in each direction.

While Up trains as 15769(Alipurduar Junction-Lumding) Inter City Express at Samuktala since 04.20 and detaining,12345 (Howrah-Guwahati) Saraighat Express at New Alipurduar since 05.23 and detaining,22411 (Anand Vihar-Nahalagun AC Express at Gosaigaon Hat since 08.10 and detaining,12515 (Trivendrum-Silchar) Express at New Mal Junction since 08.38 and detaining.
It may further be mentioned that trains with no stoppage between New Cooch Behar and New Bongaigaon have been diverted via Dhubri route and Intercity trains have been cancelled.
