GUWAHATI: Acting on intelligence input, a team from Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) arrested two drug peddlers – Md Kadam Ali (21) and Himanga Bora (27) – from Chatribari on Tuesday. A total of 43 vials of heroin were recovered from them. Following their inputs, the Crime Branch arrested one Babul Ali (26) in the Nepali Mandir area and seized 14 gm heroin in vials, Rs 1600 in cash, a mobile phone and a Scooty (AS01 EV 7420). Legal action has been initiated.
