GUWAHATI: In this year's Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) HSLC examination results, four students from Kamrup (Metro) are among the top 10.
Chaki G Bulton from St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Guwahati secured the third position by scoring 591 marks. The students said that she studied 8 hours in a day and did not take any pressure for the exams. She expressed her gratitude towards her teachers and family.
Hiyashree Sarma from Dakshin Guwahati Jatiya Bidyalaya secured the fourth position by scoring 590 marks. She is a resident of Nampara, near Gorchuk. The student aspires to be an engineer in the future.
Ananya Medhi and Niraj Khaetn secured the 9th position by scoring 585 marks each. Medhi is a student of Assam Jatiya Bidyalaya and Khaetn is from Happy Child High School.
Medhi's father, Ghanashyam Medhi is the principal of Assam Jatiya Bidyalaya and she wants to be a doctor in the future.
A total of 12,276 students appeared in the HSLC exams from Kamrup (M). Out of the total students, 2866 students secured 1st division, 3,162 secured 2nd division, 2,868 secured 3rd division. In total 8,896 passed the exams and the passing percentage is 72.47 percent.
