GUWAHATI: A relief drive will be conducted by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Northeastern Region and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in collaboration with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at two villages in Rani on the outskirts of Guwahati on Saturday.
Through a survey conducted by the CRPF, the team has identified 90 households in Mairapur Village and 30 households in Jayantipur Village who are in urgent requirement of food supplies..
Moreover, the drive will also try to reach out to stagnant labourer communities within the block.
The drive is scheduled to start at 10:00am Mairapur Village and the team of UNDP and AAI will meet the CRPF convoy infront of their camp gate.
