GUWAHATI: Assam Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (AIIDC) organized and sponsored an exposure trip for a group of 30 students of SB Deorah College, Guwahati to the industrial units located at Industrial Growth Centre (IGC), Chhaygaon, Kamrup district on Thursday.
The students were led by teachers of SB Deorah College and officers of the AIIDC.
During the exposure trip, the students were taken to CG Foods which produces snacks, noodles; creative Propack and Alpet Containers producing pet bottles, jars etc. The students also received first-hand information and knowledge on packaging and house wares during their visit to TCPL Packaging Ltd, Hamilton Housewares and JDB Steel.
The objective of the exposure trip was to motivate the students in developing entrepreneurial skills to start their own enterprise or business after their formal education. A press release said.
