Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad holds 26th annual State conference

GUWAHATI: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Assam Pradesh held their 26th Annual State Conference at the Rabindra Bhawan here on Sunday. The guest of honour of the event was North East Organizing Secretary ShriSriniwas and the chief guest was Deputy Inspector General of Police (administration) Diganta Bora. Among other dignitaries present in this conference were ABVP national secretary NayanJyotiSarma, State secretary Rakesh Das.

Addressing the conference Sriniwas stated that the ABVP is world's largest student organization who is continuously working for the development of the students and the society. He alleged that some of the organizations in Assam are trying to divide the State. So, he asked the volunteers of the ABVP Assam Pradesh to find out the real culprits who are trying to divide Assam.

Diganta Bora stated that more than 3 lakh volunteers are working for the development of the nation in the ABVP. He claimed that the ABVP is working to unite the nation.

On the occasion, the ABVP launched its new theme song and release a book titled RashtriyaSuraksha by Sunil Kumar Bansal. The body also announced Professor of Assam Engineering College Haren Bora as its new State president.
