All Assam Law Students' Association (AALSA) Plants over 2,000 Saplings

GUWAHATI: On the occurrence of World Environment Day, the All Assam Law Students' Association (AALSA) had targeted planting 1000 saplings to promote the importance of Green Earth.

According to a release, the Central committee's chief advisor and general secretary have planted 200 saplings and the president in charge has planted 300 saplings.

The different district committees and college units have also planted several saplings in their respective districts. A total of 1,756 saplings were planted by them. While the Goalpara District planted 500 saplings, the Golaghat and Jorhat districts planted 300 and 250 saplings respectively. "We planted a total of 2,256 saplings around Assam. It's a huge achievement for us," the AALSA stated in the release.
