TAC Election 2020: All eyes on the Tiwa Autonomous Council poll now

GUWAHATI: After the BTC poll results, stage is now set for the TAC (Tiwa Autonomous Council) poll to be held on December 17. A total of 3,08,409 voters will seal the fate of 124 candidates who are in the poll fray. Talking to The Sentinel, Assam SEC (State Election Commission) Secretary PranjitGogoi said, "A total of 36 TAC constituencies will go to poll on December 17 in parts of Morigaon, Nagaon, Hojai and Kamrup (M) districts. While the polling will be from 7.30 to 4.30 pm in as many as 410 polling stations on December 17, the counting will be from 8 am on December 19."
