GUWAHATI: The All Guwahati Traders' Association (AGTA) on Monday staged a demonstration in front of the State Labour Commissioner's office at Ulubari in Guwahati demanding review of revised rate of labour registration fees. The traders' body submitted a memorandum to the Labour Commissioner and requested him to decrease the renewal labourfees that has been increased by tenfold. The traders stated that they will be forced to stage statewide protests if their demands are not met.
