Apollo Hospital, Guwahati donated 5,000 facemasks to ASDMA

GUWAHATI: The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) has received an amount of Rs. 8 Lakhs and 5,000 pieces of facemasks today from Apollo Hospital, Guwahati under CSR initiative as a support towards disaster management activities of ASDMA in the state during the outbreak of COVID-19. According to a release Manas Das, Chief Financial Officer, Apollo Hospital, Guwahati and Jagadish Bezbaruah, Senior General Manager (Operations), Apollo Hospital, Guwahati have handed over the cheque and the said materials to M.S. Manivannan, Commissioner and Secretary, Govt. of Assam, Home and Political Department and Revenue and Disaster Management Department and Chief Executive Officer, ASDMA. Manivannan has expressed gratitude to Apollo Hospital, Guwahati for the donation in this time of crisis and opined for more such initiatives to be taken care of.
