GUWAHATI: Complying with the order of the Gauhati High Court, the APSC (Assam Public Service Commission) published the final lists of the Combined Competitive Examination, (CCE) 2018 on Thursday.

Against 138 vacant post for Assam Civil Service (Junior Grade), 135 candidates have been selected. The break-up of posts is – 73 open category, 35 OBC/MODC, SC 9, ST(P) 14, ST(H) 7 and PWD (locomotor disabled) 5. Leading the list from the top in the ACS Junior Grade are Kongkon Jyoti Saikia, Jintu Sarma and Nimashri Dauka.

In the Assam Land and Revenue service (Junior Grade) 55 candidates have been selected against 56 posts, the break-up being – 28 open categories, 15 OBC/MOBC, 4 SC, 6 ST(P), 3 ST(H) and PWD 2 (one each of visually impaired and hearing impaired).

In Assam Police Service (Junior Grade) eight candidates were selected against as many posts. The break-up of the posts is – 3 open category and 5 OBC/MOBC.

In Superintendents of Taxes ten candidates were selected against as many vacant posts. The break-up is, 5 open category, an OBC/MOBC, 3 SC and 1 ST(H).

One candidate has been selected for the lone open category post of Superintendent of Excise.

Two candidates – an open category and an OBC/MOBC – have been selected for assistant employment officers.

Ten candidates have been selected against 11 posts of labour inspectors. The break-up of the posts is – 8 open category, one each for SC, ST(P) and ST(H).

Thirty-one candidates have been selected against 32 posts of Inspector of Taxes. The break-up of the posts is – 20 open category, five OBC/MOBC, four SC, 1 ST(P) and 2 ST(H).

Three candidates of Inspectors of Excise have been selected against as many vacant posts. The break-up of the posts is – 2 open category and 1 ST(P).
