APSC cash-for-job scam: Home Department urged to cancel Rakesh Paul’s arms license

GUWAHATI: The investigating officer of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) cash-for-job scam has written a letter to the Home Department, Government of Assam, to cancel the license of the 7.65 mm pistol of Rakesh Paul, the prime accused in the scam.

When Rakesh Paul was arrested in connection with the APSC cash-for-job scam, a 7.65 mm licensed pistol was recovered from his possession. It was seized. After all these years, the license of the pistol is yet to be cancelled.

The investigating officer has now written to the State Home Department to cancel the license of Paul's pistol.
