GUWAHATI: The Satgaon police arrested an Army jawan, Bitto Ali, on Saturday on the charge of ‘bashing up his wife’. The police got a video clip of Bitto Ali that shows him beating up his wife. Soon after, the wife of Ali also lodged an FIR (case 37/2020 u/s 498(a)/354/307 IPC) with the police on Saturday. The police then arrested Ali. He is now in judicial custody. Ali hails from Amsing in the Jorabat area.
