GUWAHATI: The State unit of the BJP on Sunday celebrated the 99th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Late Atal Behari Vajpayee at its headquarters at Basistha Chariali here. The State unit also listened to the latest edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann ki Baat' on the occasion.
The programme was attended by prominent leaders of the State BJP led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
In a statement, the State BJP mentioned that the Mann ki Baat programme was ceremonially heard in the party's 40 organizational districts in the State, along with 399 mandal offices and 28,000 booth offices.
