Assam BJP to hold 'Booth Ka Baat' programme on November 29

Keeping the 2021 Assam Legislative Assembly election in view, the State BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) has taken an initiative to strengthen its organization at booth level by organizing a programme - Booth Ka Baat -- on November 29.

GUWAHATI: Keeping the 2021 Assam Legislative Assembly election in view, the State BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) has taken an initiative to strengthen its organization at booth level by organizing a programme - Booth Ka Baat -- on November 29.

Talking to The Sentinel, State BJP media convenor Dhurbajyoti Moral said, president Ranjeet Kumar Dass has directed all the party workers to organize the programme.

"We have around 28,000 booth committees and on November 29, every party leader, worker, Minister and MLA will attend the programme at their respective booths. The two-hour programme from 9 am to 11 am will have discussions on the party's share of votes in the respective booths as compared to previous years. The party workers will also discuss the reach of various beneficiary schemes," said Moral.

He underlined that the party workers will pay door-to-door visits to take note from the people whether they have been benefitted from the government schemes. Based on our visits, a beneficiary list will be prepared, the leader said.

"After the Boot Ka Baat programme, the workers will watch Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the nation thoroughly his radio programme Mann Ki Baat," he added.
