Guwahati: A
bike rally was taken out on the streets of Guwahati by Assam Chatra Parishad
(ACP) on Saturday to mark its first Foundation Day. Asom Gana Parishad (AGP)
president Atul Bora participated in the bike rally.
ACP is the youth wing of AGP.
The rally covered a stretch from Ganeshguri to the
Ambari, the headquarters of AGP.
Speaking to media, AGP president Atul Bora said, "The
ACP has strengthened the base of the party in the past by bringing in new
students. They are trying their best to lead the team with new ideas. He lauded
the contributions and steps being taken by the young members of ACP.
Bora said that the seniors are always there to support them and on the 1st Foundation Day, they were present to convey their best wishes.
When asked about the upcoming Assembly elections, Bora
said, "This year is very important for all of us as there is barely a few months
left for the elections, I would like to advise all the members of AGP to lead
the party just like wartime preparations for the 2021 election".
