Assam Elections 2021: State BJP to conduct review meetings at district level

The State BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) will hold review meetings to analyze the performance of the party in the recently concluded Assembly elections.

GUWAHATI: The State BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) will hold review meetings to analyze the performance of the party in the recently concluded Assembly elections.

The order to conduct the review meetings has been issued by State BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass who directed the party's general secretaries to conduct meetings at the district level.

General Secretary (GS) and MP Rajdeep Roy will review the party's poll performance in Dima Hasao, East Karbi Anglong, West Karbi Anglong, Guwahati, South Kamrup, North Kamrup, Goalpara, Baksa, Bajali, Barpeta, and Nalbari.

GS and MP Tapan Kumar Gogoi will hold a meeting to review Dhemaji, Dhakuakhana, Lakhimpur, Majuli, Biswanath, Sonitpur, Udalguri, Nagaon, Darrang and Bongaigaon.

MP and GS Pallab Lochan Das will review Sadiya, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Sivasagar, Charaideo, Jorhat, Golaghat, Koliabor, Hojai, and Morigaon.

GS (Organizational) Phanindra Nath Sarma will review Cachar, Karimganj, Hailakandi, Chirang, Dhubri, East Dhubri, South Salmara-Mancachar, and Kokrajhar.

The review meetings will be attended by presidents and office bearers of the respective districts, mandal presidents, general secretaries, State office bearers, presidents of the State morchas, districts' morcha presidents and general secretaries, State executive members, in-charge of Bidhan Sabha, among others.

It is to be noted that the Assembly election-2021 was conducted in three phases. While the first phase was held on March 27 in 47 constituencies, the second phase was held on April 1 in 39 constituencies. The third and final phase of the polls was held on April 6 in 40 constituencies.
