GUWAHATI: The Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission (AERC) has announced that the public hearing regarding a proposed amendment to the rules will be held on June 23. The hearing will be conducted in the Court Room of the Commission on June 23 at 12 p.m.
The draft AERC (Electricity Supply Code) (Sixth Amendment) Regulations, 2023, amendment has been proposed for linking the Holding number or Assessment number of consumers residing in ULB areas of the State with APDCL consumer numbers. The notification was issued as per the directive of the government on April 19. And interested persons who want to take part in the same have to register their names on or before June 21 in the office of AERC. The draft amendment of the Regulations has been made available on the website of the AERC.
