GUWAHATI: Students of various colleges affiliated to the Gauhati University (GU) on Thursday submitted a memorandum to the university authority, requesting that the 6th Semester results scheduled from July 4 be deferred.
The memorandum stated that classes have been held for only 59 days and, moreover, many of the areas under the Gauhati University are still affected by floods. Even online examinations will not be possible in view of impaired electricity supply in many areas, it stated.
