GUWAHATI: The Controller of Examinations of Gauhati University has announced the postponement of the Law examinations that were scheduled for June 23 and 24. The reason for this postponement is the current wave of floods in different parts of the state.
A statement to this effect said that the new examination dates will be announced later, and other examinations will be conducted as per the pre-announced schedule.
The All Assam Law Students' Association earlier submitted an application to the Controller of Examinations, Gauhati University, to appeal to the authorities to postpone or reschedule the examination dates due to the current floods.
