GUWAHATI: Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi on Monday bade farewell to Anuj Kumar Hazarika, who served as Deputy Secretary, and Niranjan Das, who served as a messenger in the Governor's Secretariat in Raj Bhavan, upon their attainment of their superannuation.
According to a press release, while bidding farewell to the retirees, the Governor lauded the professional conduct, sincerity, and diligence with which they discharged their duties. He also wished them good health, prosperity, and a happy life ahead.
The Governor also gifted them with copies of the Bhagavad Gita.
Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor SS Meenakshi Sundaram, officers and staff of Raj Bhavan were present in the farewell function.
