GUWAHATI: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC), through a notification, has informed that the last date for submitting their request for rechecking of their answer scripts is June 14.
The AHSEC stated in the notification, “This is the information for all HS Final Year Examination 2023-appearing candidates that application forms will be received for rechecking of answer scripts, if any, through online mode only”.
The candidates can visit the website https://ahsec.assam.gov.in/ to apply for the forms online. The last date for depositing the fees is also June 14.
Also, AHSEC has rescheduled the dates for the admission process for the Higher Secondary first year 2023. According to the AHSEC, its admission portal, ‘DARPAN’ will now available on June 17. The preparation of the selection list and waiting lists will be from June 19 to June 21, the publication of the provisional selection list and the waiting list is on June 21 (midnight), acceptance of admission by students is from June 22 to June 24, and confirmation of admission by the institutions is from June 26 to June 28. Earlier the whole admission process was within the time period from May 29 till June 17. The whole admission process will be online, and students cannot apply for admission to more than five institutions.
The authorities of the institutions can edit the profiles of the students only once before verification of the applications. The authorities advised the students to opt for admission into one institution after the publication of the selection list for admission by using their login ID in the portal at the earliest. After approval, there will be no option for a student to change the institution. The student has to take admission within the time stipulated. The students will have the liberty to change the preferences of their subjects and streams at the time of admission, and the institution concerned will have to update the same in the portal on the day of admission. The institutions will have to keep their selection lists from the waiting list updated on a regular basis.
