Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had already completed the Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir by walking 4500 km, which is a historical moment for the country. That yatra raised the issue of peace over hatred and anger and also on the issues of unemployment, price rise, and the plight of farmers."

The youth of the state are disappointed and demoralized because of the issue of unemployment and what the future of the country will be. This yatra will focus on giving justice to the poorer sections of the country.
