GUWAHATI: The Assam Police busted an international human trafficking racket on Friday and arrested Sabina Yasmin from the Satgaon area in Guwahati for her alleged link with it.

Doboka Police in the Hojai district wanted Yasmin in connection with a case. She had been on the run.

Police sources said, "Earlier, during a raid at her residence in Hojai, we found 25 passports suspected to be duplicated or made with fake documents. She is a part of a racket which lures women from various parts of the state with the promise of providing jobs outside the country. The racket then traffics the women." The police also arrested two accomplices of Yasmin – Giyasuddin, Zafar and Kamal Uddin. Police are searching for the women whose 'fake' passports they recovered from Yasmin's residence.
