GUWAHATI: The State government carried out a major reshuffle and promotion in the police force at the Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) levels. The Home (A) Department issued out an order stating Dr. Bidyut Das Boro, Additional SP (Crime), Hailakandi is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Training), CID, Assam, Ulubari; Moidul Islam, who was deputed to Tinsukia District as Additional SP (Crime) is reverted back to his substantive post as 2nd in-Command, 9th APBn., Barhampur, Nagaon.
Bitul Chetia, Additional SP (Kaziranga National Park) under STF, Assam, is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ), Majuli. Aseema Kalita, Dy. SP, SB (HQ), Assam, Kahilipara, is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-II), Guwahati.
Rajashree Dhandia, Vice Principal, Lachit Barphukan Police Academy, Dergaon is transferred and posted as 2nd-in- Command, 3rd APBn., Titabor, Jorhat. Tilok Das, Dy. SP (S&I), Dibrugarh is transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant, 5th Assam Commando Battalion (Urban Ops and Law & Order), Pabhoi, Biswanath.
John Das, SDPO, Bokajan, Karbi Anglong is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Security), Karbi Anglong. Gitartha Dev Sarma, Dy. SP (HQ), Karimganj is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime), Baksa.
Tridip Bardalai, ACP, Basistha, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Security), Capital Complex, Dispur.
Laba Kumar Deka, Dy. SP (HQ), Chirang is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (S&I), Lakhimpur.
