GUWAHATI: The Saraighat Bridge has turned into a suicide point, with another one leaping off the bridge on Sunday.
According to police source, a parked vehicle bearing registration AS 01 AG 5321 was recovered near the Saraighat Bridge, where the police suspected that the driver might have jumped off the bridge. The owner of the vehicle is Rajbrat Bora from Hengrabari.
The police have started an investigation but still have no clue regarding the owner of the vehicle. The police also recovered a mobile phone and a purse from the vehicle.
