GUWAHATI: A married woman from Guwahati has gone missing from Bengaluru (Bangalore). The woman has been identified as Kunjalata Das, alias Arifa Begum.
Her family members lodged an FIR against her husband, Sabir Ali at Fatashil police Station, as they alleged that he is involved in her disappearance.
According to police sources, she had been missing for a month or so. She was from Silpukhuri, and married to Kharghuli’s Sabir Ali. Since four to five months prior, they went to Bangalore, and after that, she went missing. The family doubted that she might have been sold or murdered.
The police have detained the husband for further questioning.
