GUWAHATI: The AASU (All Assam Students Union) has said that the Assamese language paper should be included in the APSC (Assam Public Service Commission) examination.
This was said by AASU president Dipanko Kumar Nath and general secretary Shankor Jyoti Baruah in a joint statement on Saturday.
They said, "If Assamese, Bodo and other ethnic languages do not thrive in Assam, where will they survive?"
The student leaders added,"The decision of the Assam government in this regard is unacceptable."
