GUWAHATI: The union body elections for the B. Borooah College of Guwahati were cancelled in 2022. Following this, the college authorities published a notification for conducting elections in the month of February this year, but that too was cancelled at a later date.
Students of the educational institution protested several times in the past year, demanding the conduct of elections for the union body, but no action was taken in this regard. According to the officials of the college, the elections will be conducted soon after the examinations are over for the students.
