GUWAHATI: Two motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched away a five-year-old baby from its mother's lap in the Bharalukhmukh area in Guwahati on Thursday evening.
The woman, identified as Majirun Bibi, makes her ends meet by begging in the Bharalumukh and Kumarpara areas. According to sources, she stays in a rented house near Shantipur Masjid. The police are investigating the incident.
