Bank of India holds Hindi Month closing ceremony in Guwahati's Zonal Office auditorium

According to the instructions of the Bank of India, Hindi month was celebrated with pomp in all the branches of the zone from 14 September 2022 to 14 October 2022

GUWAHATI: The Hindi month closing ceremony was organized by the Bank of India in the auditorium of its Zonal Office recently.

The program was presided over by the Deputy Zonal Manager of Bank of India, Yeshi R Sherpa and conducted by Ravi Kumar, Official Language Officer of Bank of India, Guwahati Zone.

According to the instructions of the Bank of India Head Office, Department of Official Language, Hindi month was celebrated with pomp in all the branches of the zone from 14 September 2022 to 14 October 2022. Various competitions were organized during the month at the branch level, zonal level and zonal office level; in which the winning participants were felicitated by Yeshi R Sherpa, Deputy Zonal Manager, Bank of India. The program started with a resolution to do most of the work in Hindi. After this, the messages of Home Minister Amit Shah and the MD and CEO of the Bank of India were read out.

Addressing the program, Deputy Zonal Manager of Bank of India Yeshi R Sherpa said that Hindi as the official language is tying the whole of India in the thread of unity. Today with the help of advanced technology it has become easy to learn Hindi and work in Hindi. He directed all the members to do most of their work in Hindi so that Hindi becomes more popular at the global level, a press release said.
