GUWAHATI: Basistha police today apprehended one Mebakynsai Langstang, and recovered fake Indian currency notes (FICN) worth Rs 2,93,000 from his possession.
According to sources, the apprehended man hails from East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. The police were assisted by a Special Operations Group (SOG) of East Guwahati police district and Khanapara traffic out post team. Necessary actions have been initiated against them to trace out more linkages in this regard.
