BJP executive meeting held CM appeals to party workers to connect with people

GUWAHATI: Today’s executive meeting of the state BJP drew the roadmap for the ‘Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan’ of the party starting from May 30 to June 30, 2023. Attending the meeting in Srimanata Shankardev Kalaskhetra, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, in his concluding speech, appealed to the party workers to meet 1,000 people in every Lok Sabha constituency for the Maha Sampark Abhiyan. He further said that there will be big rallies with the party’s central leaders in all the 14 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state. On May 25, Amit Shah will be distributing appointment letters to 45,000 youths. As a part of the Jan Sampark Abhiya, the Chief Minister has appealed to all the party workers to congratulate each of the recruited candidates. And also congratulate the participants who were part of the Guinness Book of World Records held on April 14.

Attending the meeting, the Union Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal, said that in order to maintain the continuity of the victory of the party, the party workers are asked to connect with the people of the state. Further, under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the country is experiencing overall development, and under Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam too is evolving in every sphere.

Today’s executive meeting was chaired by the state BJP’s president, Bhabesh Kumar Kalita. Along with CM Himanta Biswa and Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, the BJP’s national vice president and Assam in-charge Baijayant Jay Panda, national general secretary Dilip Saikia, state BJP Co-in-Charge Paban Sarma, and national spokesperson Sambit Patra were present at the meeting.
