‘BJP is committed to developing all sections of society’

GUWAHATI: The state BJP welcomed the government's decision to initiate the socioeconomic assessment of the state's five indigenous Muslim communities, namely Goria, Moria, Deshi, Syed, and Jalahar. The statement said that "BJP is committed to the development of all sections of society, irrespective of caste, creed, and religion. Every religious person in Assam is feeling safe under the leadership of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The state government has decided to conduct a socio-economic assessment for the development of five indigenous Muslim communities in Assam: Goria, Moria, Deshi, Syed, and Jalahar."

"With the principle of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sarka Prayas', the BJP has been working for uplifting every community in Assam. The decision of the socio-economic evaluation of five indigenous Muslim communities in the state will help in taking special steps in the areas of health care, cultural identity, education, financial inclusion, skill development, women empowerment, etc.," , the statement added.
