Bodo language is compulsory for Assam Legislative Assembly officials

All the employees and officers of the Assam Legislative Assembly (ALA) have to learn the Bodo language. In regards to that, a training programme on Bodo language learning and speaking courses will be organized by the Assam Legislative Assembly Secretariat in a phased manner.

GUWAHATI: All the employees and officers of the Assam Legislative Assembly (ALA) have to learn the Bodo language. In regards to that, a training programme on Bodo language learning and speaking courses will be organized by the Assam Legislative Assembly Secretariat in a phased manner. This training programme will be inaugurated on June 1 by ALA Speaker Biswajit Daimary.

In this regard, the principal secretary of ALA has issued a notice. It may be mentioned, as Speaker Biswajit Daimary has said, that during the budget session, one of the Assam Legislative Assembly’s sessions will be organized in Kokrajhar. A team of ALA members has already visited the BTC council hall, where one of the ALA sessions will be conducted.
