GUWAHATI: The dead body of a man was recovered from an apartment in the Chandmari locality of the city on Wednesday and the incident triggered a sharp sensation among the local people.
According to sources, the dead body was recovered from an apartment in the Krishna Nagar locality of Changamari on the morning of Wednesday. The body was identified as that of one Manjit Singh. It is being speculated that the victim may have committed suicide, but no reason has been revealed as to why he would take that extreme step.
Meanwhile, the local police have started an investigation into the matter and trying to find the causes leading to this incident.
