GUWAHATI: Noted litterateur Janardan Goswami’s newest book Rabindranath: Ek Mohot Modhur Sanjivanee was released in the city on Tuesday. Director of drama and a noted artiste Nayan Prasad inaugurated the book and appreciated Janardan Goswami’s continuous service in the field of books as inspirational.
Janardan Goswami has already produced some important books that provide the life story of Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Gautom Buddha, Samrat Ashoka, Mahatma Gandhi and many others. This particular book on Rabindranath Tagore presents a glimpse of Tagore’s life to the Assamese readers.
Addressing the media Goswami said, “The book is not a discussion of the literary products that he had contributed. It is not about his plays, songs and poetry, but an attempt to provide a mere description of his life. Rabindranath Tagore is the voice of humanity and an inspiration for the entire civilization.”
