Border Security Force Guwahati organizes Pension Adalat

A Pension Adalat was organized by Border Security Force (BSF), Guwahati Frontier for speedy redressal of the grievances of BSF retirees and family pensioners of all the seven states of the north-eastern region.

GUWAHATI:A Pension Adalat was organized by Border Security Force (BSF), Guwahati Frontier for speedy redressal of the grievances of BSF retirees and family pensioners of all the seven states of the north-eastern region.

The Pension Adalat was inaugurated by Dinesh Kuamr Yadav, Inspector General, Frontier Headquarters BSF Guwahati. In his inaugural speech he expressed his concern towards the difficulties being faced by retirees and family pensioners and assured them of prompt redressal of this pension-related problems. He said that BSF is always committed for the welfare of its retirees and their families by way of many schemes and Pension Adalat is one of the mechanisms for retired force personnel through which they can take up cases of pension-related grievances. By holding such types of localized camps, their grievances are addressed on the spot.

During this Pension Adalat, a large number of BSF pensioners belonging to seven states of the north-eastern region attended and got their problems resolved on the spot and also got the opportunity to submit their papers/vital information to Pension and Account Division (PAD) BSF for revision of pension/family pension. Grievances of 64 aggrieved BSF pensioners and family pensioners got redressed.

The retirees thanked BSF for organizing the event for speed redressal of their grievances, stated a press release.
