GUWAHATI: The BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited) — a Fortune 500 oil refining, exploration and marketing PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) with 'Maharatna' status has taken a revolutionary step in fuel delivery by inaugurating the first door-to-door delivery (DDD) facility in the city of Guwahati.
The event was flagged off by the State Head (NE) Pankaj Das, TM Retail Sh. Mowsam S Khaund and senior officials from ECHOFUELS.
The DDD facility was inaugurated for commercial sales in the presence of customers and esteemed guests through a launch function held at M/s NES Lokhra Road on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
The company is already delivering fuel through bowsers in towns like Barpeta, Howly, Tezpur, Duliajan, Itanagar, Mangaldoi, Boko, Goalpara etc.
The facility comprises of a state-of-the art automated mobile dispensing bowser which has an inbuilt dispensing unit, stated a press release.
The newly launched bowser has a 6000-litre capacity tank fitted on a vehicle and has inbuilt dispensing units. The DDD Services in Guwahati will be provided by FuelEnt Start-Up ECHOFUELS, run by Jain brothers Amit, Ankit, Vaibhav and Sarthak. This facility is suitable for diesel requirements for industries and institutions.
