GUWAHATI: The water level of the Brahmaputra in Guwahati has crossed the danger level again and is scaling newer level in each passing hours.

CWC (Central Water Commission) official Sarat Chandra Kalita said that the water level of the Brahmaputra crossed the danger level on Sunday morning in Guwahati. "The river was flowing at 50.50 m at 9 am this morning and flowing at 50.60 m at 6 pm against the danger mark of 49.68 m. The river has been maintaining a rising trend since July 7, 2020," he said.
